The staff at Shortz! are excited to announce that InkTip is a proud sponsor of the Shortz! Film Festival! If you haven't heard of them, let us introduce you to this fantastic service. Started in 2000, the people at InkTip recognized how the difficult it was for screenwriters to get exposure for their works, let alone get their scripts sold. After extensive research and surveys with agents, managers and producers, InkTip created a service that was a benefit to everyone.
The company's tagline "Where everyone goes for scripts and writers" says it all. Check out the Successes tab on the website for numerous success stories. Among them are these stories; "Hole in the Paper Sky" is a short film starring Jessica Biel ("Blade: Trinity," "The Illusionist," "The A-Team") that was based on a script written by Howard Kingkade who was discovered on InkTip by producer Michelle Purple, co-president of Iron Ocean Films with Biel.
Danny Trejo, goes from "Machete" to "Bullet". The script for “Bullet” was originally co-written by Nick Lyon and Byron Lester. The director/producer found Lester on InkTip after reading his spec scripts.
Lenny Beckerman with Anonymous Content signed InkTip writer John Biemeret to represent him. Biemeret was initially discovered on InkTip when a development executive at Cube Vision found his script "Karate Guy" on the site. Anonymous Content’s management division currently represents several A-list and Academy Award-winning clients such as directors Steven Soderbergh (“Ocean’s Eleven,” “Magic Mike,” “Traffic”) and Gavin Hood (“Ender’s Game,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), and actors Ryan Gosling (“Drive,” “The Notebook”), Emma Stone (“The Help,” “The Help”) and Robin Wright (“House of Cards,” “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”).
And there are so many more. Yours could be the next success story.
Four writers get their scripts optioned or sold each week with InkTip. In the last two years, producers and reps used InkTip to option, purchase, hire, and sign more than 500 scripts and writers. So what are you waiting for screenwriters? Get your scripts in the hands of producers, agents and managers with InkTip.
So what does this mean? Three lucky winners of the Shortz! Film Festival will receive prize packages from our new partner InkTip! InkTip helps writers sell their scripts and get representation. That means your script could be on the InkTip sight to be seen by many Industry Professionals.
