The Fun Sized Film Fest

All of us here at Shortz are simply stunned at yesterday morning’s news report of the death of Robin Williams. I think a lot of us are still in a state of shock and denial, unwilling to accept that he is really gone. He was such an ingrained presence in the last 30 years of American culture it seems unbelievable that he won’t be with us anymore. His life and work affected so many people, and he nearly singlehandedly created 3 generations of comedians and filmmakers.

ARobin williams photos one of his characters stated, “Carpe. Hear it? Carpe. Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.”                                        (John Keating, Dead Poets Society) so he lived.

We are forever in your debt, Mr. Williams, and we already miss you terribly.
